Bad product

The way the bagels are cut
I always buy Lender's Bagels, but my last bag was cut ridiculously. The top side was so thin, and the bottom half was thick.
I had to toast them separately. Why can't your machines cut them evenly?

Buy at Walmart Oneonta. I find them big but flavorless, not a single onion, often dried out, and they fall apart easily.
I'm tired of food chains changing ingredients and going the cheap route to save money. They used to be smaller, which made them crispy and, I repeat, no onions - it's a rip-off.

Wrong Bagels placed inside the wrapper... BIGTIME QC Control issues
Bought (or so I thought) Cinnamon Raison... GOT: Blueberry!??? Other QC issues related to- bagels shaped like a "U" and 1/3---2/3 machine pre-slice (Equates to one bagel being burnt and the other side half done in the toaster.)

Quality control has gone way downhill
Bagels are hardly ever split evenly. One side is super thin and the other is wide.
Also, the bagels are extremely hard sometimes. Not the whole thing but one side. And the other side is mushy.
Strange. They used to be my favorite but now I just buy the store brand.
Preferred solution: I'd like them to improve their quality control. Some of these bagels should never make it to the customer. I can understand once in a while but this is a regular occurance.

Bad bagels
Purchased onion bagels at Walmart yesterday. Got them out to use this morning and they were unusable.
One side of the bagels were rock hard, the other side was soft and mushy. Normally we love Lenders but these were just awful and such a disappointment! The POP # is76800 0****. The closure tag says Best if used by 28 NOV 23 with control #s of 131/1609 and 16:34/2373
Even more disappointing is that i ignorantly purchased 2 bags!
Its hard to find onion bagels and Im sure well try lenders again but today our breakfast was not happening.

- Oils not tell freshness as they are in frozen food area

TheseBlueberry bagels are terrible
The blueberry bagels of yesteryear are gone. Bought Lender's Blueberry from grocer's refrigerator straight into mine and they were dry and tasteless, not like they used to be. Never buying again.

Paid 3.75 for fake bagels
Lenders bagels are disgusting. I pull them apart and it just falls apart.. these use to be so delicious but who knows if these lender bagels are even real , yuk never again

Green and moldy Bagels
I've used lenders onion Bagels for years, and have never had a complaint until now. My most recent purchase (November 2023) and kept refrigerated, turned green and moldy despite the expiry date of December 23, 2023 which is still a month away.

Taste & quality
Years ago these bagels were always good. They were smaller (and that was okay) and they had lots of ingredients you could see.
I would keep them in the freezer, take one out and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds to defrost and then put in the toaster (whole, not sliced). It would then be so toasty & chewy. I would sometimes use butter or cream cheese or eat plain. An easy grab and go for work too.
But NOW...
they are awful !!! Much bigger, less of the good ingredients, dry and tasteless. Have given them several tries the last few years with incredible disappointment. Will not buy these ever again.
Do not understand WHY companies do this ???
I understand the money aspect but I would rather pay more for something that I know is good. Very sad, just another thing to take off my list.

Are you saving money by skipping sone steps in the process? Nothing like a New York bagel!!!

Go back to old recipe. New ones not at all good.
Why would they change something everyone loved? Makes no sense.

Where can I find Onion Bagels ?
I still can't find a Store that carries Onion Bagels, My Family grew up eating Bagels everyday and Onion Bagels were always My favorite but All of a sudden I couldn't find any anywhere !! Please Help Me find a Store or someplace that ships them, I really want them Bad.

The blueberry Lender Bagels have gotten continually worse on their pre- cut angle over the last year and a half at least. The last bag I got was the tipping point for me. The blade need recalibrated
Complaint about the worsening cutting of the bagels, especially the blueberry bagels. The cut is getting so bad the top part is just a sliver that breaks apart and only pieces go in the toaster. They get unevenly toasted
User's recommendation: Call and complain if the pre-cut bagels are not cut more evenly. If they are cut so bad that the top is just a sliver.. PLEASE CALL AND COMPLAIN to make a difference to have the BILBO bakery calibrate their blades at the central Arkansas bakery.

The Bagels texture is Horrible
Ive been eating Lenders Bagels for many years & always enjoyed them. Suddenly the texture of the bagel has changed and the texture is different, you cant open them up to toast, they just CRUMBLE!! After toasting they are DRY!
They just lost a customer after 25 years!!
